Crude oil Specifications for Refine?

Be more specific! This doesn't really tell me what you want to know.

For example crude oil is refined by fractional distillation, the shorter the hydrocarbon chain length the lower the boiling point (due to induced dipole interactions or van der waals forces) therefore the higher up the fractionating column they get before they cool to a liquid and are tapped off. Each liquid or 'fraction' is not a pure substance but a mixture of hydrocarbons of similar chain lenght for example naptha which has hydrocarbons of four to eight carbons in their chains.

Hope that helps but not sure!Crude oil Specifications for Refine?
What?

Is it just me or is this forum full of prats today.
