Why Iran can't refine enough oil to make gasoline?

Iran is refining uranium for nuclear electric plants, but can't process oil to make enough gasoline for internal use, why?Why Iran can't refine enough oil to make gasoline?
refining uranium is really different than refining gasoline.

they can buy gasoline.

they cannot buy refined uranium.

somehow, you seem to have bought the idea that the US should have the authority to determine how other countries run their business.

that after terrorists from Saudi Arabia, trained in Iraq, attacked the US -- so we invaded Iraq in retaliation.

some folks would see a problem with that.

other folks seem to think that the US can do no wrong.

unfortunately, almost all of the rest of the world doesn't agree. Why Iran can't refine enough oil to make gasoline?
The technology that Iran is using in their oil industry is extremely out of date. It's become so bad that their oil exports are expected to take a major hit if nothing is done about it.

Sanctions placed on Iran by numerous Western nations is hurting their crude oil industry too.

One also has to question whether Iran's main goal of building a nuclear power plant is for weapons or electricity production.
Politics.
