I have a2,8 shogun and its a bit smokey when you accelerate hard, apparently its their nature but i was told to try adding a litre of vegetable oil to a tank of fuel. I tried it and the car was noticeably less smokey. If you run your car on this green diesel, it should have the same affect as this. The only thing i would recomend is that you change the fuel filter more often than usual as the bio diesel is a bit stickier. Will a L reg 2.8 pajero diesel, run on the new green diesel (refined veg oil) as its 10p cheeper a liter?
dont believe you have an L reg pajero thats still running dude,
my r.reg Citroen xantia 19 TD runs brill on cooking oil 拢3:50 per 5gal drum. me mate pete (who owns 2 chinky chippy's) gets mine from the warehouse he buys from, (advise) make Friends with a chinky chippy bloke.
you can run it on straight cooking oil and it will run perfect, all you have to do is mix 10% white spirit in winter to stop it going all gooey. it works i know someone who runs his vectra on it. you can also collect used oil and use it if you have facilities to filter it.
yes it will also all diesel cars can run off old veg oil if you add a bit of meths.

not recomeded yo run on that though as you can be done for tax evasion
No, if it is refined it will run ok, it may be an idea on an older car to have the engine retuned if you want to use it often, or maybe do a 50/50 between that and normal diesel.
